I am currently looking for a horse or pony to compete. I’ve been riding since I was about four years old, I loaned a Shetland for a while when I was younger, who I still ride today, and then a Welsh section A, who I had until last year. My cousins have rented stables on Lord Darbys estate since I was about nine and it has seven horses on it and I help out there. I am a quite advanced rider, I usually jump courses on my lessons at around 75cm -90cm but have jumped 1 metre (and over) a few times. I have a dressage lesson once every two weeks where I usually do shoulder inns, leg yields, flying changes and pirouettes ect, I have done a bit of cross country as well. I live in Liverpool but can get the train, bus or drive to most places, however it would be ideal if you had a horse close to Liverpool. I am looking for a horse or pony that can jump and do dressage, preferably under the age of 15 and above the height of 14.2hh, I am 5.5 and around 8 stone so can still ride smaller ones. Because I have had Shetland ponies I am used to ‘play ups’ and can sit to most things. I am also happy to muck out, do nets and do general stable requirements as I have a lot of experience doing this. I am thirteen years old, in year nine, so I will be turning fourteen and although I relatively young I haven’t come home from a show without a rosette and I have been riding for almost ten years so I think that what ever I lack in age I can get back in experience.
